Danielle Grosvenor - MAR, RA DIP
Clinical Reflexology Practitioner
I commenced my basic training at The London School of Reflexology and then progressed to complete the advanced and highest level of qualification within Clinical Reflexology under the mentorship of Hagar Basis - who with over 30 years’ experience and has established herself as one of the foremost clinical reflexologists and training providers in the UK.
My comprehensive training has equipped me with the skills to create bespoke treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions, complemented by practical advice on diet, lifestyle, and hand reflexology techniques. My certifications extend to Spinal Reflexology, RLD Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology for Menopause, Aromareflex, Facial Reflexology, Orthopedic Reflexology, Reflexology for Stress, and Indian Head Massage. In 2023, I further enhanced my practical experience at UCLH NHS Hospital in London, aiding midwives with reflexology.
My holistic approach has been enriched by my knowledge in growing and preparing herbs, culminating in a Diploma in Holistic Skincare. As a registered practitioner on the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council Accredited Register, I am committed to the highest standards of reflexology practice and ongoing professional development.
What is Clinical Reflexology?
Clinical Reflexology, unlike traditional reflexology, takes a more targeted and evidence-based approach, incorporating a deeper understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. It is a specialised, advanced form of reflexology that focuses on applying pressure to specific points on the feet to relieve stress and tension, improves nerve and blood supply, and helps to bring about homeostasis – a balance in the body. I work with you on a deeply restorative level to support your body’s own healing processes, helping you to reach a state of balance and inner calm with each treatment.
Clinical Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive complementary therapy. It has been described as the ‘art’ of fine tuning the body, to promote optimal functioning. By using a protocol of manual focussed techniques, I am able to instigate changes or healing in the body. These techniques stimulate the complex neural pathways linking body systems, supporting the body’s efforts to function optimally.
The effectiveness of clinical reflexology is recognised worldwide by various national health institutions and the public at large as a distinct complementary practice within the holistic integrative healthcare field.
Clinical Reflexology is concerned with the underlying cause of a condition rather than just the symptoms. Symptoms can materialise as a result of a combination of physical, environmental, and emotional causes and by identifying these causes, a specific individual treatment can be created.

Reflexology is more than just a treatment—it's a pathway to enhanced well-being. Here’s why so many choose reflexology as a key component of their health and wellness routine:
A Reset for Your System: Experience the sensation of hitting the 'reset' button with each session. Reflexology isn’t just about relaxation; it’s about revitalizing your entire body and mind.
Deep Relaxation: In today’s fast-paced world, finding true relaxation is rare. Reflexology offers a unique opportunity to achieve deep relaxation, allowing you to disconnect and recharge in profound ways.
Self-Healing: Empower your body to heal itself. Reflexology stimulates your body’s natural healing processes, enhancing your overall health and vitality.
Purposeful Relief: Each session is a purpose-driven treatment that addresses specific health concerns—from reducing stress and anxiety to alleviating pain and improving circulation.
Coping with Life’s Challenges: Life can be overwhelming, but reflexology helps you cope more effectively. It’s an incredible support tool that improves your ability to handle stress and adapt to life’s ups and downs.
Utterly Amazing Experience: Beyond the health benefits, reflexology is an indulgent, soothing experience that leaves you feeling rebalanced and rejuvenated.
Choose reflexology not just as a treatment, but as a transformative practice that enhances how you feel every day.
How stress negatively affects the body.
From head to toe, stress leaves no part untouched. Discover the surprising ways stress impacts your body's systems, and what you can do to shield yourself from its grasp.
Skin:
Stress can cause skin issues like acne, eczema, and psoriasis by inflaming skin and disrupting oil production, while also accelerating ageing through collagen breakdown. It similarly affects hair by disrupting growth cycles and reducing nutrient supply, leading to thinning and loss.
Brain:
Chronic stress impairs cognitive functions such as memory and concentration, and increases the risk of mental health issues like depression and anxiety, significantly affecting mood and mental well-being.
Cardiovascular:
Stress raises heart rate and blood pressure, straining the cardiovascular system and, over time, leading to severe conditions like hypertension and heart attacks due to narrowed arteries and increased heart workload.
Joints & Muscles:
Stress results in muscle tension and pain, especially in the neck, shoulders, and back, and can worsen arthritis by increasing bodily inflammation, causing joint discomfort and stiffness.
Gut:
Stress disrupts the gastrointestinal system, causing symptoms such as indigestion and stomach cramps, and can lead to more severe conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and ulcers with prolonged exposure.
Reproductive System:
In women, stress can disrupt menstrual cycles, leading to irregular or painful periods. In men, it can decrease testosterone production and sperm quality, reducing fertility.
Immune System:
Stress weakens the immune system, making the body more prone to infections and prolonging inflammation, which compromises its ability to heal effectively.
Embrace the healing power of reflexology to relieve stress, help you unwind and protect your body from the ravages of stress. Let me help you restore balance and promote wellness, keeping stress-related ailments at bay.
